Team Shred Ready Does The Dries / Eternity Hole

For the past week the New River Academy has been located on the New River in West Virginia. The reason for this being the new river dries waves were in. This was my first time at these waves and I was completely blown away. You walk down to the river and there are two waves. The first, “the small one”, is on the river right and has eddy access. This wave I didn’t surf too much but it is good for every trick in the book. The second wave is in the center of the river and is HUGE. The height of this wave is about 15 feet tall and pretty uncontrollable. The center wave, which is the wave I surfed all day, was incredible but fluctuated more than any other wave I have ever been on. Some times it was totally green and other times it had a perfect foam pile. Andrew Holcomb showed up as well as Chris Gragtmans. Lets just say both of these guys know how to surf a wave.

After a week on the dries we packed up and drove 8 hours to the Tuckaseegee River in North Carolina. We are back on a normal school schedule so we have school in the morning and early after noon and then head to a spot by the name of eternity hole. We were there yesterday and Team Shred Ready showed up in force. There was myself, Chris Gragtmans, and Spencer Cook. This spot is great for every hole move and I watched Spencer hit a ride with a McNasty and a Phonix Monkey in it. I hope you all enjoy the Pictures.
